Charoite
Charoite is a concentration of many different minerals and metals.
It has a violet to purple color, with light striations, non-transparent with white and black inclusions. Found in only one place in the word – eastern Siberia (Russia). It is named after river Chara, were deposits were found. It is an expensive and difficult to obtain gemstone, due to limited deposits. It is believed that Charoite offers protection against infections and epidemics, stabilizes the immune system – reinforces the body’s defenses. Also has a calming effect on the nervous system.
